(ohana didn't specify who "they" are... assuming Luffy and Law)
Law uses his ability to take off the Sea Stone chains off Luffy and others
As the gas spreads all over the island, Usopp and Nanji travel across the island on Brownbeard
The pirates run from the gas
The shutter doors open, and when they run into the lab, they find Luffy and co waiting, ready to fight
Counter attack begins!

Hours ago, there was an unverified post by anonymous user that said Hawkins, Apoo, and Kid are reluctantly joining the alliance, by Killer's suggestion.
This may be actually real, since it goes well with ohana's post. (and a few other anonymous posters claimed its truth)

..... I assume he switched the Sea Stone chains with them?
Or perhaps, whoever chained Law used those instead?
If Monet was actually working for Law, I could see her using those chains instead to fool Ceaser.
